               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">VP EXEMPT NON EXCLUSIVE<BR><BR>                <b>*** EXPERIENCED, w/CPP or CWP, ARMED SECURITY GUARDS ***</b><BR><BR>*** Must have an CURRENT Concealed Pistol Permit or Concealed Weapons Permit (CPP or CWP) per WA state law.. ***         <BR>    <BR><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b><BR>Established security company is seeking a FT, experienced, armed security guard to work in the Moses Lake area.  Employer encourages military personnel to apply.    <BR><BR>Job Tasks:<BR>*  Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.<BR>*  Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.<BR>*  Stand guard, monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.<BR>*  Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.<BR>*  Report emergencies, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons to the dispatch center.<BR>*  Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.<BR>*  Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.<BR>*  Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems, such as air conditioning, furnace, or boiler.<BR>*  Other duties as assigned.<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b><BR>* Schedule to be determined at interview.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>* 6 months previous work experience as a security guard.<BR>* Must have an up to date Concealed Pistol Permit or Concealed Weapons Permit (CPP or CWP) per WA state law.<BR>* Must be 21 years of age to be an armed security guard.<BR><BR>**(Military experience will substitute for the above two requirements)**<BR><BR>* Must be familiar with weapon safety and usage<BR>* Must pass pre-employment testing including background check and drug screen upon offer of employment<BR>*  Valid WA State Driver's License for duties of the job<BR>*  Neat clean appearance<BR>*  Must be bondable <BR>*  Must be physically able to perform the essential functions listed in the application packet.<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>*  CPR / First Aid Card, employer will provide training if not current.<BR>*  Washington State Armed Security License, or able to obtain with employer provided training.<BR>* Military background/experience is a plus.<BR> <BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:</b> <BR>$10.50 plus per hour to start for Armed Guard DOE/ DOQ.
