(ATS) looking to hire GENERAL MECHANICS to service, repair and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Works under limited supervision. This brand new aviation facility is opening in Moses Lake and has already increased its call to 20 Aircraft Mechanic, Avionics specialist and is holding a HIRING EVENT SEPT. 6TH, at Work Source in Moses Lake! ATS already has a facility established in Moses Lake and plans to start production Mid-September! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Has basic knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area. * Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work. * Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise. * Complete job assignments in a timely manner. * Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading. * Repair, replace, and rebuild aircraft structures. * Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification. * Participate in operational tests. ***Full Description Available upon Referral*** JOB REQUIREMENTS: ** ONLY persons that have worked SPECIFICALLY on Aircraft may apply ** * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Airframe and/or Powerplant License and level of skill customarily acquired after one year as an Apprentice Mechanic, or two years of related commercial / military aircraft experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Good verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to read and interpret documents as well as communicate effectively with other maintenance and support personnel at all levels regarding job related issues. * Must have a general knowledge of fundamental maintenance operations and practices and be able to complete these tasks with moderate supervision. * Ability to perform basic and intermediate mathematical functions. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. * Meet all regulatory requirements per FAR 65. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: *** Those with Current A&P Cert. are STRONGLY Encourage to apply *** HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE: Monday / Friday, Day and Swing Shifts SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS: $23.69 to $28.99 an Hour/ DOE Full benefit package the day they start employment - included health benefits, 401K, life insurance, short and long term disability insurance, we furnish coveralls and the cleaning, tuition reimbursement, Paid Time Off and Holiday pay.
