<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">VP Exempt Non Exclusive<BR><BR> <b>HVAC TECHNICIAN</b><BR><BR><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b><BR>MAINTENANCE HVAC TECHNICIAN performs a variety of duties to maintain the HVAC equipment and buildings of the School District by providing the highest quality of service at all times.<BR><BR>PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<BR>Assembles tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to service, maintain, and repair commercial rooftop packaged and split systems, constant and variable air volume systems, heat pumps and refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, etc.. Maintain all HVAC systems utilizing computerized scheduled preventive maintenance and DDC diagnostic programs.<BR><BR>SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<BR>1. Assists maintenance team in the accomplishment of any other <BR> assigned duties and tasks.<BR>2. Assists with, and/or attends classes, in-services, or other training as<BR> directed.<BR>3. It is not intended and should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills that may be required.<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b><BR>8 hours/260 days; <BR>8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. approx. <BR> <BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>1. High School Diploma or GED and valid Washington State Drivers <BR> License are required.<BR>2. Two (2) years of vocational training or specific course completion in <BR> refrigeration/HVAC technology, or equivalent experience, (i.e. one <BR> year of job experience may equal one year of formal training).<BR>3. Possess a valid Diploma, Journeyman, or Master's License in an <BR> appropriate trade and/or have a minimum of 5 years experience in <BR> the HVAC service industry.<BR>4. Must have successfully passed the Refrigerant Usage Certification <BR> Examination and possess a valid Refrigerant Reclaiming <BR> Certification Number.<BR>5. Always punctual, excellent attendance.<BR>6. Bilingual preferred.<BR>7. Must be able to work flexible hours, including swing shift and <BR> weekends when assigned.<BR>*** Pass background check and health screen upon offer of employment.<BR><BR>ABILITIES<BR>1. Demonstrate basic computer literacy in a Windows Operating <BR> Environment.<BR>2. Demonstrate basic knowledge in EMS and DDC Systems.<BR>3. Must be able to be qualified as a certified asbestos worker and/or <BR> inspector.<BR>4. Must be able to manipulate/use hand and power tools.<BR>5. Must be able to read and interpret measuring and metering devices.<BR>6. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, <BR> specifications and instructions.<BR>7. Must be able to read and complete work orders and may be required<BR> to supervise and/or train other workers.<BR><BR>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<BR>1. Must be able to climb ladders, use lifts, and work on rooftops during <BR> all types of inclement weather conditions.<BR>2.
