<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">VP EXEMPT NON EXCLUSIVE<BR><BR> <b> MAINTENANCE *VALVE* TECHNICIAN, MOSES LAKE FT </b><BR><BR><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b><BR>REC Silicon, the world's largest dedicated producer of silicon materials for the photovoltaic industry, has an immediate opening for MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN at its Moses Lake, WA facility. <BR><BR>This position is responsible for the setup, repair, and maintenance of automated and manual valves located throughout the facility.<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Work Shift: Rotational (days 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and nights 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.)<BR>Work Days: Rotational (must be available to work any day, including holidays and weekends)<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>* Two-year technical degree or 5 years related work experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience. <BR>* Basic computer skills (MS word, MS windows, email systems) as well as general computer use knowledge with the ability to learn and understand other software programs.<BR>* Good reading, writing and vocabulary skills.<BR>* Basic knowledge of technical drafting.<BR>* Easily able to read and understand vender drawings and manuals.<BR>* Strong trouble shooting and reasoning skills.<BR>* Strong understanding of how to read and interpret engineering, industrial / blueprint drawings.<BR>* Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components / equipment.<BR>* Strong understanding in the use of shop tools and equipment.<BR>* Basic understanding of structural steel welding process (SMAW, GMAW).<BR>* Basic understanding of pipefitting and knowledge of flange assembly.<BR>* Strong understanding of operation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical drive systems (belt / pulley systems, gear boxes, etc.).<BR>* Strong understanding Pump and Compressor operation, repair, installation, and maintenance.<BR>* Strong understanding of operation and repair on various types of valves. <BR>* Skilled in coupling maintenance and laser alignment.<BR>* Strong Understanding of mechanical seal and packing installation, operation, and maintenance.<BR>* Basic knowledge of pressure and leak testing.<BR>* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.<BR>* Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.<BR>* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
