               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Duties:  Sells general merchandise to customers exercising professional selling techniques.  Performs cash register transactions efficiently.   Works as part of a sales team to provide service which anticipates and exceeds customer expectations.<BR>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  General Experience:  No experience required, but 6 months progressively responsible experience desired in retail work of any kind in which applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily in the position to be filled.  This is a progression position and if incumbent is hired as NF1, they may progress to NF2 level without further competition after 18 months of being responsible of performing the kind of duties which constitute the principal work of the position of a NF2 Sales Technician and have shown they successfully possess knowledge of precious and semi-precious stones and metals as it relates to quality, similarities and differences.  Must be able to articulate to customers the artistic features and functions of various watches and fine jewelry; describe merchandise features, demonstrate its use, and explain the difference between various similar and dissimilar items; describe/sell product warranties; listen to customer needs to inform customers of specific merchandise available or to complete special orders for merchandise not readily available.  Must be able to operate a cash register.  Must be able to interact with customers and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner, which includes adhering to NEX dress standards, and assisting support sales team members to the maximum extent possible.  Must be able to exercise tact, good manners and courtesy when assisting customers and fellow associates.  Must be able to deal effectively with others and have knowledge of store policies and procedures.  Must have command of the English language.  Must be able to follow both oral and written instructions.  Must provide outstanding customer service.  Works under the general supervision of a designated supervisor.</font></td>
