               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Credentialing Specialist<BR>Location: Washington-Olympia<BR>Job Number:_19868<BR>Providence is calling a Credentialing Specialist to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.<BR>We are seeking a Credentialing Specialist to process primary source verification for provider initial and reappointment applications and work in cooperation and coordination with Providence Payor Credentialing and the Medical Staff Support teams of various Providence and contracted hospitals, and surgery centers.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Perform credentials verification service to hospitals, ambulatory service centers delegated health plans and other health care organizations as applicable.<BR>* Perform ongoing monitoring of expirables (licensing, DEA and malpractice insurance) and sanctions, including, but not limited to State, Medicare, Medicaid,.<BR>* Entry/Update to System database.<BR>* Perform data queries and analyzes same for quality audits.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required  qualifications for this position include:<BR><BR>* High school diploma, GED or equivalent.<BR>* Minimum two years credentialing experience within a healthcare organization.<BR><BR>Preferred  qualifications for this position include:<BR><BR>* College course work in a business or health care related subject.<BR>* CPMSM (Certified Professional in Medical Services Management) or CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist).<BR>About the hospital you will serve.<BR>Providence St. Peter Hospital is a 390-bed, not-for-profit regional teaching hospital.
