<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Medical Librarian - On Call<BR>Location: Washington-Olympia<BR>Job Number:_16218<BR>Providence is calling a Medical Librarian to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.<BR>We are seeking a Medical Librarian to be responsible for the medical library?s daily operations and management.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Be responsible for the planning, developing, and maintaining the various library goals including annual budget, marketing and development.<BR>* Be responsible for coordinating, delivering and planning the full range of information support functions for the hospital staff.<BR>* Develop and maintain various hospital pages. Reference services, interlibrary loan and library collection development are also a core responsibility.<BR>* Supervise the daily activities of the library technician and volunteers.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Master of Library Science from ALA accredited graduate school of library and information science.<BR>* Two years of medical library experience<BR>* Online and Internet searching experience (National Library of Medicine databases, OVID and OCLC databases)<BR>* Knowledge of library automation and hypertext language<BR>* Valid Driver?s License<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Library management experience<BR>About the hospital you will serve.<BR>Providence St. Peter Hospital is a 390-bed, not-for-profit regional teaching hospital.
