<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Security Officer<BR>Location: Washington-Olympia<BR>Job Number:_18750<BR>Providence is calling a Security Officer to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.<BR><BR>We are seeking a service-oriented individual to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, staff, volunteers, and associated medical staff.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Patrol the facility and grounds, enforce security policies and procedures and maintain general order. <BR>* Communicate with public safety agencies, monitor alarm systems, conduct emergency response drills (fire and infant abduction)<BR>* Respond to emergency calls following appropriate procedures.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR>7<BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* High School Diploma or equivalent<BR>* Valid driver?s license and a clean driving record<BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Law enforcement or security related experience, including experience working within a medical facility.<BR>* Training as a police or security officer in the military, state, federal and/or private agency.<BR>* Current healthcare security officer certification from IAHSS<BR>* Current Basic Life Support (BLS)<BR>About the hospital you will serve.<BR><BR>Providence St. Peter Hospital is a 390-bed, not-for-profit regional teaching hospital.
