This position is responsible for the coordination and administrative functions of a comprehensive housing program in Thurston County. This program requires someone who possesses relevant skills and required knowledge in housing including; extensive knowledge of federal and state housing regulations (including HOME, CDBG and HEN, CHG and ESG programs), contract/RFP development and monitoring skills, stakeholder and service provider coordination, data management, community development, and effective written and verbal communication skills. Individual must be able to provide technical assistance to community service providers and elected officials on matters pertaining to ending homelessness and the development of affordable housing opportunities.<BR><BR> <BR><BR>QUALIFICATIONS:<BR>Bachelor’s degree in business, social work, public administration, or related field.<BR><BR>Two or more years in contract management, including construction contract management and program evaluation involving complex regulations or operation of nonprofit organizations. Experience with grant funding, housing and/or community development is desired.<BR><BR>Should have working knowledge of basic construction and federal and state laws and regulations in regards to US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME programs.
