Performs as account team technical lead by supporting the team in the sales stage including: telecommunications consulting, proposal preparation support, technical presentations to customers, and the analysis and design of Centurylink complex products and solutions. Train and educate sales teams on products, processes and systems.<BR>Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field and/or 6-10 years of equivalent experience in sales engineering, systems engineering (networking services, telephony, IP networking equipment), and/or sales<BR>Knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 LAN/WAN network design, IP/MPLS network services, voice and video over IP (VoIP) networks.<BR>Understanding of traditional telecommunications services such as SONET, DS3, DS1, circuit switched voice services, and packet switched data services.<BR>Knowledge of data network CPE including routers, switches, and firewalls from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Adtran.<BR>Knowledge of PBX and IP PBX design solutions, including product determination, sizing, capabilities, etc.<BR>Experience with the implementation planning for voice and data networks. This includes development of an implementation plan, providing site readiness requirements, and providing any specific technical requirements for the implementation.<BR>Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects and associated deliverables.<BR>Time management skills are a critical requirement.<BR>Valid Driver?s License with satisfactory driving record.<BR>Cisco, Juniper, Avaya or other certifications may be helpful but are not required.<BR>Company Statement CenturyLink is an industry-leading provider of communications, high speed Internet and entertainment services from coast to coast.?
