<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Cost Accountant Manager -- <BR>JOB DESCRIPTION: Will be responsible for essential accounting processes including inventory accounting, costing models, maintenance of key database and various other accounting duties as assigned. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required. Responsibilities / Key Role Activities include the following:<BR> * Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by brand by customer type.<BR> * Participate in month-end close, validate the cost of goods sold, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory valuation and inventory roll forward.<BR> * Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and prepare variance accounting on causes for reporting.<BR> * Update standard costs in the bill of materials.<BR> * Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts, review discrepancies. <BR> * Analyze cost accounting data and prepare costing for new products. <BR> * Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory and gross margin schedules to management. <BR> * Prepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory liability accounts by customer type for the division.<BR> * Review, analyze and report on inventory and margin. <BR> * Maintain internal control documentation and assist internal department reporting requirements.<BR> * Work in special projects as required. <BR> * Follow company Good Manufacturing Practices and all other quality programs <BR> * Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized<BR> * Strictly adhere to all Safety policies <BR> * Other duties may be assigned.<BR><BR>JOB REQUIREMENTS:<BR>WorkSource will only refer applicants to the employer who meet the following qualifications:<BR> * Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of three years of related experience -or- have an equivalent combination of experience and education. <BR> * Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Access software, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel software.<BR>In addition, be prepared to demonstrate the following qualifications to the employer:<BR> * Must have outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking, and presentation skills. <BR> * Must have the ability to create momentum and foster organizational change. <BR> * Must have the ability to learn new concepts quickly, especially computer software.<BR> * Must have the ability to work under tightly scrutinized deadlines, and shift emphasis when required.<BR> * Must demonstrate a commitment to continuous process improvement and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.<BR> * Must have strong oral and written communication skills.<BR> * Must have effective trouble shooting and problem resolution skills<BR> * Must pass pre-employment criminal background and drug screening tests.<BR><BR>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:<BR> * Manufacturing experience.<BR> * LEAN Manufacturing experience.<BR> * Knowledge and understanding of a CPG process environment would be a distinct advantage.<BR><BR>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE: Full-time position.<BR><BR>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS: Rate of pay depends on experience and qualifications.<BR><BR>CLOSING DATE / DEADLINE: Open until filled.<BR><BR>HOW TO APPLY: Contact WorkSource for instructions on how to apply.
