               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><B>Join us, and improve the world while you earn money <BR>for school, grow as a leader, network in the community, <BR>and discover abilities you can use in any career.<BR><BR><I>Plus, National Service experience looks great on your resume or college applications!</I></B><BR><BR>We've been serving the Tri-Cities area for over 20 years.<BR><BR><B>Whether you're 18 years old or 81 years young, <BR>we are looking for enthusiastic adults to fill the <BR>following full-time service positions:</B><BR>* Experienced tutors for the Literacy and Academic Success Team  (Pasco Schools) <BR><BR><B>Each full-time position offers:</B><BR>* Real-world job and leadership experience<BR>* $900/month living allowance <BR>* Medical insurance<BR>* $550 per month towards an education award you can use to continue your education or pay back qualified student loans (upon successful completion of the term of service)<BR><BR><BR>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED<BR>- You must be a United States citizen, United States national or lawful permanent resident of the United States and at least 18 years of age <BR>- Demonstrated interest in service, civic education, and helping others serve<BR>- Ability to develop rapport and work/communicate well with students, teachers, supervisors, volunteers and clients from diverse populations<BR>- Willingness/ability to accept and carry out oral and written instructions<BR>- Ability to work as part of a team and exercise personal initiative when necessary<BR>- Ability to quickly learn methods and materials used in a variety of service situations<BR>- Ability to work within designated boundaries of authority and confidentiality<BR>- Ability to assist service site staff to implement organizational objectives related to reading, math, emergency preparedness, volunteer coordination, and/or program development and management<BR>- Ability to follow schedules and meet deadlines<BR>- Demonstrated punctuality and good work attendance record<BR>- Ability to monitor individual students/clients, volunteers, groups and various events<BR>- Demonstrated interest in participating in regular, various meetings and trainings<BR>- Willingness to prepare and deliver educational presentations and activities to team members and the general community<BR>- Ability to perform basic record-keeping, basic arithmetic calculations and reporting<BR>- Ability to use English in verbal and written form, using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling<BR>- Ability to read/interpret/apply rules, regulations, policies<BR>- Significant physical abilities include ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods, reaching/handling, talking/hearing quiet conversations, and near/far visual acuity<BR></font></td>
