Please plan accordingly when you apply. </b><BR><BR>PACKAGING OPERATOR, FULL-TIME  (Y)<BR><BR><b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b><BR>Will be responsible for the operation of packaging equipment in an IQF vegetable packaging facility.  Responsible for ensuring that all equipment is operating with proper guards, repairs minor breakdowns to high speed packaging equipment, sets up all packaging equipment, improves line efficiencies, and ensures that all equipment is in safe working condition. Maintains the start up and continuous operation of packaging equipment while maintaining efficiencies and assists the department in meeting or exceeding daily packaging goals. Will operate several pieces of equipment including, fillers, scales, case erectors, poly baggers, case sealers, etc.  Other duties as assigned. <BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS</b><BR>*Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.<BR><BR>*Must have at least 2 years experience with food processing and packaging operations.<BR><BR>*Must be able to read, write and speak English to be able to communicate with staff on all levels.<BR><BR>*Must be able to work any shift, weekends and overtime if required.<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</b><BR>*Experience in maintenance of packaging equipment and supervisory experience is preferred.<BR><BR>*Bilingual in English and Spanish to communicate with co workers and staff.<BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE</b><BR>8 hours per day 5 days per week.<BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS</b><BR>$12.50/Hour swing shift.  No benefits.<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE/DEADLINE</b><BR>Immediate Hiring Need.  Recruitment will continue until position is filled.<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY</b><BR>Please contact your nearest WorkSource Office in person with this job order number for referral instructions.
