The Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the utilization of most engineering theories and practices. Some assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is expected. Perform diverse range of instrumentation, controls and electrical engineering activities supporting all phases of an equipment design/build project - design, procurement, installation and assembly, testing, packaging and shipping. Design and fabrication of PLC panels, junction boxes, logic diagrams, HMIs, and power panels. Create and review design documents such as wiring, cabling and tubing schedules, instrumentation, wiring and loop diagrams, hydraulic/pneumatic panel drawings, instrument index and I/O lists, specifications and datasheets, instrument control philosophy and scopes of work for construction. Design of electrical equipment, wiring and power distribution systems to meet applicable Codes, standards and specifications. Includes design documents such as one-line diagrams, cable and interconnect schedules, panel drawings, wiring diagrams, calculations, specifications, and datasheets Develop engineering estimates, prepare detailed requisitions and scopes of work for equipment and services; perform technical bid analyses, review supplier submittals.<BR><BR>Please contact Nick Nichols<BR><BR>Duties<BR>Qualifications <BR><BR>4-year degree in instrumentation and controls or electrical engineering (or related field) and 12+ years related work experience, preferably in a field and/or fabrication shop environment<BR><BR>PE registration desired<BR><BR>Selection and programming of PLCs and HMIs such as Siemens (S7), Allen Bradley (RSLogix 5000)Citect,<BR><BR>RSview32 SE/ME, and Kinetix 6000 Servo Controllers (SERCOS) with Control Logix as the motion control platform<BR><BR>Familiar with all major AC/DC drive systems<BR><BR>Selection of appropriate instrumentation for various equipment and process applications<BR><BR>Read and understand Process and Instrument Diagrams<BR><BR>Conversant with discipline specific codes, standards and regulations<BR><BR>Design of electrical systems for modular mechanical equipment including low voltage (120VAC and 24VDC) wiring and electrical systems up to 480V is a plus<BR><BR>Ability to work effectively with other engineers, designers, craft personnel, suppliers and customers<BR><BR>Proficient with Microsoft Office software and engineering software packages<BR><BR>Effective verbal and written communication skills<BR><BR>Experience w                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  </font></td>
