               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Registered Nurse- ICU<BR>Requisition#: 2510<BR>Department: Acute Services<BR>Schedule: Full Time<BR>FTE: 0.90000<BR>Shift: Nights<BR>Hours: 1900-0730 (Requisition 2510)<BR>Salary: <BR>Job Details: <BR>* Registered Nurse (RN)<BR>* ACLS<BR>* Basic Life Support (BLS)<BR>* TNCC<BR>* WA State RN Licensure<BR>* <BR>A registered nurse who performs and coordinates total nursing care for critical level and med/surg patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient care personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice.<BR>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES:<BR>Assesses patient''s conditions and nursing needs, using the nursing process<BR>Assures that patient''s direct care needs are met<BR>Performs patient/family education as appropriate<BR>Demonstrates competency in unit specific technical skills<BR>Exhibits teamwork in patient care <BR>Acts independently without specific instructions, utilizing time and resources effectively<BR>Demonstrates professional accountability<BR>Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and specific needs of the patients served<BR>Practices appropriate infection control techniques in all patient interactions<BR>Functions as an effective mentor for new nursing personnel<BR>Serves on Rapid Response & Code Teams as designed<BR>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<BR>Previous education and experience in critical care nursing or a desire and willingness to learn and participate in related course work to develop intensive care nursing abilities<BR>Current RN licensed in WA State<BR>Current BLS<BR>Current ACLS<BR>TNCC or four (4) hours of approved trauma education required within (1) year of hire<BR>Ability to work with a culturally diverse population<BR>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<BR>BSN<BR>PALS<BR>ENPC<BR>bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking abilities                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 </font></td>
