Assist with debriefing emotional distress; encourage personal development; monitor and guide daily living skills; coordinate services with agency providers.<BR>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/COMPETENCIES:<BR>Provide essential services to the residential treatment facilities'' clients<BR>Assist lead counselor in planning for continuity of care for residents<BR>Assist in the day-to-day operations of the facility<BR>Maintain and promote effective communication between residential staff and other departments<BR>Exhibit teamwork in resident care services<BR>Demonstrate professional accountability<BR>Implement measures that safeguard the welfare, care, health, and safety of residents<BR>Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population served in Lourdes Cullum House<BR>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<BR>High School Diploma<BR>Food Handlers Permit<BR>WA State Counselor Registration (Agency Affiliated Counselor)<BR>CPR/First Aid<BR>Ability to work with a culturally diverse population<BR>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<BR>Associates Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field<BR>Six (6) months working with developmentally or mentally ill individuals in a residential setting, crisis, group home or inpatient setting.<BR>Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking abilities </font></td>
