About the Position:
Ice Harbor Project is a multi-purpose hydropower project, with missions that include operation and maintenance of the facility for flood control, hydroelectric power generation with six main generating units, navigation locks, fish facility with two fish ladders, recreation and natural resources management. Pasco, WA is located in southeastern Washington. It is part of what is known as the Tri-Cities, consisting of Richland, Kennewick and Pasco. Pasco is in a high desert area with the outer area being mostly farming area producing wheat, corn, grapes, apples and other crops. There are many wineries in the area. Recreational opportunities including fishing, hunting, boating and camping are abundantly available to enthusiasts. In the winter, skiing is within an hour away.
