Candidates must be motivated and possess a strong leadership quality. Our office environment is very fast pace. This candidate will be working with multiple customers and carriers per day moving goods in the United States and Canada. Candidate must be motivated and have a positive personality. This is a great opportunity for a team player to be successful with lots of room for advancement. Candidate will call on new business (cold-call) as well as our current business to grow the business. This is a Full Time position M-F 08:00 – 5:00pm This is a Base Salaried position plus commissions The Commission structure is unlimited The Base structure is 24,960.00 to $30,000.00 for entry level sales average commissions for entry level $1,200.00 a month within the fist 3-4 months Average Candidate could expect to make $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 their first year. Key Responsibilities: Answering phones, returning email, reading and sending faxes On the phone to customers providing rate quotes and dispatching freight Works with team in generating sales revenues by calling potential shippers, manufacturers, freight forwarders and nvocc’s to build an established book of business. Coordinate with carriers by phone, fax, and email by contract establishing routes, rates and delivery dates as agreed to by customer Communicate with customers, carriers, consignees as well as within the team daily events Ensure compliance with carriers, customers prior to contracting - due diligence Be able to deal with stressful situations in a professional manor while maintaining company policy and integrity Keep records current and filed Be able to analyze and interpret driver, dispatcher and sales information Provide analysis of dispatch operations using provided tools and make recommendations Ensure details and confirm accuracy of shipment information Load entry into the point of sale system Skills: Have sales experience and sales ability Communicating and selling by phone or by email or by fax Emailing Customers with proper grammar and sentence structure Proficient in basic math Trouble shooting – common sense practices Possess a sense of humor MS -Outlook, MS -Word, MS –Excel Good written and verbal communication skills and be able to demonstrate a professional manner in a customer service oriented environment. Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, follow up and customer service skills. Highly organized and effective at follow-up and follow-through of assigned tasks with minimal supervision Work well within a team environment, being flexible to assist and support others as requests and work load vary Ability to multitask effectively Have a Team mentality and be a fast learner Be organized and know how to prioritize daily events Be goal driven with a competitive nature - desire to be the best Possess a solid and ethical work ethic - lead by example Interact with other members within the team as well as customers and carriers alike in a professional manor</td>
