The individual will perform (but not be limited to) the following responsibilities:<BR>• Generates sales though discovering new opportunities within existing accounts and searching for new business with new clients<BR>• Performs both account management and account development<BR>• Identifies the key stakeholders and decision-makers in accounts and directs selling efforts towards them.<BR>• Creates new opportunities for Air Liquide that may not be part of the standard product offering.<BR>• Works on multiple concurrent new account opportunities<BR>• Makes effective use of institutionalized strategic selling and funnel management tools (e.g. Sales<BR>Force . com)<BR>• Become knowledgeable of ALASG standard product offers, as well as ALASG and Air Liquide Group's overall technical capabilities<BR>• Prepares and presents professional-looking proposals addressing the cost of the customer's problem and the value of the ALASG solution.<BR>• Effectively collaborates with entire ALASG Team to manage the smooth transition from initial capture to ongoing account management.<BR>• Gathers competitive intelligence and works with market managers to collate and interpret competitive information.<BR>• Maintains accurate up to date records in SalesForce.com<BR>• Conforms to applicable sales policies established by ALASG / Air Liquide Group<BR><BR>General Requirements:<BR>• 8+ years of experience in business-to-business outside sales<BR>• 5+ years of experience in specialty gas/cylinder sales in the Portland Marketplace.<BR>• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other physical science or the equivalent experience<BR>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills<BR>• Strong presentation skills with the ability to interface with and sell to senior-level executives, including C-level executives<BR>• Ability to execute open-ended, needs-based selling and custom solution development, including the ability to sell customer-funded product development proposals<BR>• Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail<BR>• Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory and as needed for company meetings and training<BR>• Willingness to utilize technical tools to improve sales performance<BR><BR><BR><BR>PLEASE NOTE: Air Liquide will not accept resumes from third party vendors.
