               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Administrative and Financial Manager<BR> <BR>Department Advanced Imaging Research Center<BR> <BR>Location CDW 100<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary range $64,872 - $97,308<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> <BR>Key Responsibilities:<BR>* Administrative and financial activities: Comprehensive understanding of financial analysis, Service Center operations, including billing, budget development, effort analysis and reporting, space and inventory management, purchasing, scheduling, internal and external communications, website management, and policy development. Financial analysis and budget development include, but are not limited to, complex financial projections, strategic planning, cost, fund, and grant accounting.<BR>* Service Center billing and administrative operations: Facilitate instrument scheduling. Perform internal / external billing, annual rate review, and ongoing budget review. Assist in negotiation of service contracts, annual purchase orders, and other purchasing activities. Complete regular financial and cryogen use reports.<BR>* Interact efficiently and effectively with the Office of the Vice President for Research and Corporate Financial Services to complete tasks, analyze complex financial data and develop and execute appropriate financial models.<BR>* Work closely with Principal Investigators, Research Grants & Contracts (pre-award), and compliance offices to assist in grant development and submission.<BR>* Work closely with Principal Investigators and Sponsored Projects Administration (post-award) to assist in grant management and reporting. Provide monthly reports to Principal Investigators. Process labor distributions and adjustments, sub-contract and sub-award requests, budget adjustments, extension requests, progress reports, and effort certifications.<BR>* Work closely with external groups and Technology Transfer and Business development to assist in drafting, editing, and routing technology agreements.<BR>* Prepare and route employment transactions as needed, participate in annual employee review process, manage timesheets and leave reporting, and assist employees in understanding benefit choices.<BR>* General administrative support includes organizing staff meetings, publicizing seminars and other events, preparing travel claims and reimbursement requests, scheduling meetings, participating in faculty and committee meetings, updating websites, and providing regular updates and reports.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Required:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree.<BR>* Five years demonstrated experience in finance, operations, and personnel management in a complex environment including prior grant management.<BR>* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business software.<BR>* Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team; effective organizational abilities; effective written and oral communication skills; ability to operate and communicate effectively and professionally while meeting multiple deadlines and co                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      </font></td>
