This person needs to be a technology generalist that enjoys piecing together difficult problems and utilizing a diverse technical skill set. Analytics Integration EngineerIn the role of Integration Engineer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, updating, migrating and enhancing servers, services and applications. The candidate must have strong experience with .NET development, scripting and back-end services including ASP.NET applications, middleware applications and Windows Services. The candidate will be required to deploy and update software through a combination of scripting and custom development while following business guidelines.Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: -    Analyzing and upgrading environments to new versions of frameworks and middleware-    Migrating existing proprietary applications and services to the updated environments-    Develop test plans and perform unit and integration testing-    Researching, identifying, analyzing, and resolving breaking changes, conflicts and improvements in applicationsThe candidate will be required to understand and communicate requirements, document changes and follow business processes. Additionally, the candidate must be able to package software for deployment, install and configure proprietary applications, create, configure and maintain databases within SQL Server, and configure and deploy COM+ service components.The candidate must have knowledge of the full spectrum SDLC, as well as a deep understanding of integration considerations, deployment and maintenance in a fast-paced, demanding environment. In addition, the candidate should have some source code management experience. Continuous integration experience would be a plus.Required Experience-    3 - 5 years of Microsoft .NET Framework development experience (C# preferred)-    1 - 2 years of ASP.NET web and/or web service development-    1 - 2 years of T-SQL experience-    Revision control, automating builds and build promotion (TFS preferred)Nice to Have-    COM+ development, deployment and maintenance-    At least 1 year of SQL Server database maintenance experience-    Some Java or other, non-Microsoft language and framework experience a plus-    Middleware experience (Business Rules integration experience)-    Experience with continuous integration servers and processesThis client can only entertain candidates that can work directly with TEKsystems on a W2.
