But the truth is, we think people are more productive when they're having fun.<BR><BR>Start playing.<BR><BR>As our Apparel Designer II-Women's Training, you'll utilize your advanced design skills to create original, innovative designs that appropriately reflect Nike's design philosophy and standards. You'll communicate and present design concepts and produce presentation materials in conjunction with the Design and Category teams that effectively communicate the concept behind the Line for internal and external audiences. You'll work with design leadership and Category team members in Design, Development and Merchandising to ensure design feasibility and meet price points, merchandising needs and product creation timelines. You'll also provide prototype sampling information, including fabrication, trim, color, graphic applications, style, detail, fit requirements and construction detail.<BR><BR>You'll monitor the development of prototype samples and interact with Development, Pattern Making, Materials, Apparel Lab, Field Testing and the Sample Room to exchange ideas and ensure the timely completion of each project. This opportunity also involves building a deep understanding of current trends, color, technology and sports-related products through market travel/research in order to keep abreast of consumer and future design direction. In addition, you'll participate in activities that will increase understanding and working knowledge of products, product lines, product development, commercialization and specific markets in which Nike does business.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Requirements for the position include:<BR><BR>* Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design<BR>* 5 years' related experience<BR>* 2 years' additional apparel design experience in lieu of a degree<BR>* Proven ability to apply and perform design skills such as drawing/sketching, concept ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing/scale, visual presentation development and layout.<BR>* Demonstrated ability to create market appropriate product designs within set timelines<BR>* Ability to understand and incorporate marketing principles to design<BR>* Demonstrated understanding of pattern making, draping, materials, trims, garment fit/construction<BR>* Strong verbal and written communication skills in local market language, including meeting fa </font></td>
