<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Assistant/Associate Professor<BR> <BR>Department Hematology/Medical Oncology<BR> <BR>Location MNP 3223<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience; Location: Astoria, OR<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The duties of this position include support of the mission, goals and objectives of OHSU, The Knight Cancer Institute, Community Hematology Oncology and the School of Medicine; the provision of oncology/hematology medical services as part of a professional services agreement to Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria Oregon; participation with other faculty on disease specific provider teams; establishment and maintenance of a program of scholarly activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes, detection and treatment of hematologic and oncologic disease; participation in administrative committees and councils of OHSU as approved by the Chair and Division Head; engagement in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head; participation, as desired, in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair; and participation, as desired, in clinical, translational, and bench research activities. It is anticipated the position will be made up of the following components: Clinical, Teaching, Research/Academic and In?patient Service at Columbia Memorial Hospital (CHM) in Astoria, Oregon.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required qualifications include board certified/board eligible medical oncologist/hematologist licensed to practice medicine in Oregon; Board certified in Internal Medicine; board certified/board eligible in medical oncology/hematology with a desire to practice in a community based clinical environment as part of an academic health care system; and the background, focus, and drive to excel, as well as the ability to provide excellent clinical care to cancer patients in the community setting.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
