Associate Professor<BR> <BR>Department Psychology/Speech-Language Pathology<BR> <BR>Location CDRC 2305<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary: Commensurate with education and experience; Location: Marquam Hill<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> <BR>This is a leadership position within the CDRC Autism Program, providing guidance and support for clinical service, academic/training activities, and research, as appropriate. The position is under the administration of the Director of the Institute on Development and Disability (IDD), the Associate Director for Academic Affairs/IDD (UCED) Director, and the Associate Director for Clinical Programs (IDD/CDRC). The duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals, and objectives of the OHSU and the IDD, inclusive of teaching, research, and service. This position reports to the Division Director.<BR>The specific duties of this position include:<BR>Clinical Service/Clinical Education (25%-50%): The primary clinical focus for the person in this position will be the CDRC interdisciplinary Autism clinic. The incumbent will be responsible for evaluation, team collaboration, and family feedback. The incumbent may also participate in follow-up services for CDRC autism patients, for example the Autism Parent Training Program, AAC evaluation/management, behavioral management, etc., depending upon discipline, interest, and expertise. The incumbent will also participate in the clinical education of students, interns, and LEND fellows as it relates to autism, including their participation in the Autism clinic.<BR>Research/Administration (20%-45%): The incumbent will function as Principle Investigator (PI) for the Autism Treatment Network (ATN) grant, and will be responsible for the collaborations and deliverables associated with that position. The incumbent will also engage in other research appropriate to their discipline and expertise, and will cooperate in joint research projects with other faculty. The incumbent will be expected to contribute to population-based research and evidence based research, to generate grant-funded activities, and to disseminate the products of the research through professional publications and presentations.<BR>Professional/Academic Activities (10%): The incumbent participates in other activities appropriate to the Autism program and to his/her discipline, and consistent with the mission and goals of the IDD and OHSU.
