This position reports to the Chair of the Department of Neurology. The duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals, and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine, Neurosciences Critical Care Program. The position will be largely self-supporting from the clinical practice income, research grant support and programmatic support from the OHSU Hospital. The primary responsibilities include the provision of clinical care to patients; research; teaching; implementation and development of the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit in the OHSU Hospital; development and maintenance of a funded research program as part of the Neurosciences Critical Care Program; and teaching medical students, residents and fellows as deemed appropriate by the Department of Neurology. The incumbent will participate in departmental activities consistent with the understanding that the position requires focus and dedication of time to the Neurosciences Critical Care Program. Other activities include, but are not limited to, membership on the Departmental and SOM committees. <BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>As a member of the Department, the incumbent will be expected and encourage to pursue funded research activities that further individual professional development and the advancement of scientific knowledge.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Requirements include board certified or board eligible; neurologists who are certified or eligible for certification in Neurocritical Care; and an interest in clinical research is preferred.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
