Location: Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.This position reports the Chief, Division of Surgical Oncology, and Department ChairThe primary purpose of this position is to establish and maintain a basic science program for research activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes, prevention, detection and treatment of thyroid and parathyroid disease. Primary responsibilities include participation in the in education of residents, interns, and medical students assigned to the Division of Surgical Oncology; participation in administrative committees and councils as approved by the Chair; contribute to department administration as assigned by the Chair; and participation in Surgical Oncology coverage and other clinical activities of the University Hospital and Clinics.This position requires undivided effort at the specified FTE level.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Requirements include extensive knowledge and experience in research, including basic research and government and industry sponsored research; ability to perform independent work in minimally invasive endocrine procedures; and demonstrated clinical program development and expertise in minimally invasive endocrine surgery.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
