               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Assistant Professor<BR> <BR>Department Knight Cancer institute<BR> <BR>Location MNP 2NE<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> <BR>1.0 FTE; Salary: $184,000-240,000 annually, Location: Marquam Hill<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> <BR>The individual in the position will be a member of the Knight Cancer Institute, Center for Hematologic Malignancies, a section of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology, Department of Medicine.<BR>Duties include:<BR>* Daily clinical management of inpatient bone marrow/hematologic malignancy patients with an emphasis on treating patients with acute leukemia and myeloma<BR>* Shared responsibility for on-call coverageCase conferencing with multi-disciplinary teams<BR>* Coordination of teaching rounds with Fellows and House-staff assigned to the inpatient or outpatient service and participation in education of medical students and house staff<BR>* Recruitment of patients<BR>* Fostering collaborative relationships with referring physicians and organizations<BR>* Medical direction to CHM Data Managers and Nurse Coordinators<BR>* Experience and expertise in the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive CHM databases<BR>* Development and participation in clinical trialsParticipation in administrative committees and councils<BR>* Engagement in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head<BR>It is anticipated the positionwill be made up of the following components: Clinical approximately .40FTE; Teaching approximately .10 FTE; Academic approximately .40 FTE and Service approximately.10 FTE (at least initially)<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Minimum Requirements:<BR>* Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon<BR>* Board eligible/certified in Hematology and or/Medical Oncology<BR>* Bone marrow transplant experience in clinical management of allogeneic and autologus transplant patients<BR>* Proven success in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams<BR>* History of success in obtaining extramural funds for clinical trials and/or basic science research<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
