The primary expectation is the development of a funded, independent, clinical, basic, or translational research program. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to: teaching of medical students and house staff through conferences, seminars, and interdepartmental activities; supervising house staff in the delivery of patient care; providing inpatient and outpatient consultative care at Doernbecher Childrens Hospital; and participating as assigned in departmental and institutional administrative committees. There may be occasional assignments to consult with physicians concerning seriously ill children in other hospitals. Such consultation will be with the knowledge and permission of the Chair of the Department of Pediatrics. Submission to University Professional Services of appropriate charges for clinical services rendered is also required.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Qualifications: Licensed or eligible for Oregon licensure.
