               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Assistant Professor<BR> <BR>Department Pediatrics ?Pediatric Gastroenterology<BR> <BR>Location CDRC 3107<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary commensurate with experience; Location: Marquam Hill<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at Doernbecher Children?s Hospital (DCH) seeks a full time faculty member at the assistant professor level. DCH is a 151-bed modern state-of-the art facility on the OHSU campus and serves as the tertiary and quaternary referral center for all of Oregon and SW Washington. Currently, the Division of Gastroenterology has five full-time faculty, including one physician scientist; one pediatric nurse practitioner; and two specialized nurses. This is a full time faculty position providing pediatric care to infants, children, adolescents, and youth in at Doernbecher Children?s Hospital?s Gastroenterology Clinic. This faculty member will provide patient care, including consultations with physicians at other regional medical centers. Pediatric faculty members at OHSU also provide clinical teaching and supervision of pediatric fellows, residents and medical students in the clinic. This position will educate both in the clinical environment and through conferences, seminars, and interdepartmental activities. There are also many opportunities for other scholarly activity, especially around research. Candidates with a strong interest in academic pursuits are encouraged to apply. There may also be some additional educational or administrative duties.
