<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Assistant Professor<BR> <BR>Department CDRC Speech Pathology<BR> <BR>Location CDRC 2322<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE: Salary: Commensurate with experience: Location: Marquam Hill<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> This position is under the administration of the Director of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center, the Associate Director for Academic Affairs/OIDD (UCE) Director, and the Discipline Director of Speech-Language Pathology. The duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals, and objectives of the OHSU and the CDRC, inclusive of teaching, research, and service. This position reports directly to CDRC Speech-Language Pathology Discipline Director.The specific duties of this position include:Clinical Service (70%): The SLP in this position will participate in many of CDRC?s interdisciplinary clinics including Autism, Neurodevelopment, and Child Development. The SLP will be responsible for evaluation, team collaboration, and family feedback. The SLP will participate in follow-up treatment of CDRC clinic patients, including the Autism Parent Training Program. The incumbent will also participate in clinical education of practicum students, interns, and fellows completing training in the CDRC programs.. Research (10%): The SLP in this position engages in research appropriate to Speech-Language Pathology and cooperates in joint research projects with other faculty. In particular, the person conducts clinical research pertaining to children with autism, neurodevelopmental disability, language disability, as well as those with special health needs, or chronic illness. The SLP in this position will be expected to contribute to population-based research and evidence based research, to generate grant-funded activities, and to disseminate the products of the research through professional publications and presentations.Professional/Academic/Other Activities (20%): The SLP in this position participates in other activities appropriate to the discipline, and consistent with the mission and goals of CDRC and OHSU. Such activities include, but are not limited to, clinical documentation, consultation and technical assistance to families, community agencies and providers, serving on agency and university committees, and participation in departmental meetings and in-service presentations.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Minimum Qualifications: A graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology. S/he will have a minimum of 3 years pediatric clinical experience serving children with complex conditions. S/he will have demonstrated experience working in interdisciplinary teams, utilizing a family-centered model of care. Must hold current CCC/SLP and hold or be eligible for Oregon SLP licensure.
