               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Assistant Professor<BR> <BR>Department Pediatric Hematology/Oncology<BR> <BR>Location CDRC 3107<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary commensurate with experience; Location: Marquam Hill<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, within the Department of Pediatrics at Oregon Health & Science University, is seeking an assistant professor of pediatrics and pathology. The successful candidate will have clinical, research, and administrative responsibilities within the Hemophilia Center, housed within the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center, as well as similar responsibilities, including inpatient service responsibilities, for the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. The Pathology duties will be performed under the direct supervision of the Vice-Chair, Laboratory Medicine. Duties include: Serve as Associate Director of Transfusion Medicine (TM) Services; share principal responsibilities for clinical, medical direction and performance improvement activities in the OHSU Hospital Clinical Laboratory Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine Service and Laboratory Hemostasis and Thrombosis service with the Medical Director of Transfusion Services and the Director of Hemostasis and Thrombosis Service [I2]; assume other clinical and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Division Head; participate in the resident training and student educational programs of the Department as assigned by the Chair; serve on committees and councils of OHSU, and participate in outreach and public service programs and professional societies with the knowledge and consent of the Chair; conduct clinical and basic research at OHSU as opportunities provide, and fund these studies as necessary through grants and contracts.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Minimum Qualifications:<BR>* An M.D. degree or the foreign equivalent;<BR>* Oregon medical licensure or eligibility for licensure;<BR>* Board Certification or eligibility for Board Certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology;<BR>* One year of education, experience, or training in pathology laboratory medicine.<BR>* All education, training and experience may be gained concurrently.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> <BR>Apply here online.
