Research in the family medicine department covers a range of topics in health services, health policy, comparative effectiveness, cancer prevention, primary care transformation, and educational research. The area(s) of research will be determined by the interest of the individual, as well as investigator need. The family medicine department has an established collaborative relationship with the Division of Biostatistics and the individual in this position will have the opportunity to collaborate with other biostatisticians in that division to develop statistical methodology projects.
