               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Assistant Professor to Professor of Medicine<BR> <BR>Department Hematology/Medical Oncology<BR> <BR>Location MNP 3223<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary Range: $170,000-230,000/year; Location: Marquam Hill Campus<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The duties of this position are in support of the missions, goals and objectives of OHSU and the School of Medicine and include: participate in the education of medical students and house staff in accordance with assignments to the department by the Curriculum Committee and Chair; care of patients with hematologic and oncologic disease; establish and maintain a program of scholarly activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes, detection and treatment of hematologic and oncologic disease; carry out basic research in division research space assigned by the Division Head; participate in administrative committees and councils of the OHSU as approved by the Chair and Division Head; engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups with knowledge and consent of the Chair and Division Head.<BR><BR><BR><BR>It is anticipated your job will be made up of the following components: Clinical, Teaching Research/Academic, and In-Patient Service.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Board certified hematologist/oncologists who demonstrate the background, focus and drive to excel, as well as the desire to deliver the best care possible to cancer patients in a clinical research environment. Our ideal candidate must posses a proven track record of teaching, basic, clinical or population research and patient care excellence.
