That’s where you come into the picture.<BR><BR>General Position Summary:<BR>Provide apparel design support for a designated Designer(s) and other members of the department with regard to the design, development and production. Participate as a team member in creating, tracking, organizing, and proofing product related information. As directed by the Apparel Design management team, and Designer(s), provide computer data and illustration skills for seasonal design projects and the PDM (product data management) process. Communicate category related product information to internal departments. Work with team members to ensure that calendar deadlines are met to reach Company goals.<BR><BR>Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:<BR>Highest-level priority spent managing the generation of technical design sketches and technical package information for all assigned designs, then managing BOM completion for all assigned designs, and managing general aspects of design development and generation.<BR><BR>Work closely with designated Designer(s) for assigned category(s) in creating new products and facilitate the design and development process for apparel projects including In-Line and SMU (Special Make-Up) projects. <BR><BR>Collaborate with Designer to procure critical design information related to the development requirements of a style or product including; material, trim, color direction and style intent.<BR><BR>Specific areas of focus include: Technical flat sketches, block development, fabric and trim development, design presentation support, PDM entry, lab dips generation, prototype submission and review, bill of materials data, updates to styles for line adoption, audit reviews and sales sample review.<BR><BR>Act as a resource for all category specific design development related information including prototype development status, features, fabric, trim and color BOM details.<BR><BR>Utilize computer design and illustration skills to create and maintain accuracy of all garment tech sketches throughout the season, including any detail sketches as needed.<BR><BR><BR>Use this information to create all technical sketches needed to pictorially define construction details or design line requirements, supporting the documentation of style specifications, style measurements, and sew methods.<BR><BR>Support the prototype submission process as needed by communicating with Design, Materials Research, Liaison Offices, Product Development, Graphics, Sourcing and Production.<BR><BR>Maintain responsibility for all assigned style related data input into PDM (Product Data Management) throughout the season. Complete BOM (Bill of Materials) as directed by designer and update accordingly.<BR><BR>As directed by </font></td>
