We believe our employees are the foundation of our Company's success, and we are committed to continuous learning and quality, focusing on the customer, respect and accountability, flexibility, and good relationships with others. <BR>The Associate, Corporate Development and Strategy will facilitate the development and execution of Blount's long-term growth strategy, including strategic planning, operating initiatives, and acquisitions. <BR>RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:<BR>* Report to Senior Associate, Corporate Development and Strategy<BR>* Work with each functional area head, including the CEO, COO, and Senior Vice Presidents, on a daily basis to complete critical special projects<BR>* Primary areas of responsibility include:<BR>* Mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures execution and analyses<BR>* Strategic planning<BR>* Board of Directors communication<BR>* Support of corporate initiatives<BR>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:<BR>* Minimum of 2 years in investment banking, private equity, consulting, accounting, or a related field, preferably with meaningful merger and acquisition experience<BR>* Proven ability to conduct industry and business research and synthesize into useful information<BR>* Demonstrated ability to use corporate finance, accounting, and valuation principles to complete quantitative and qualitative analyses and financial models<BR>* Superior writing, communication, and presentation skills<BR>* Detail oriented; with commitment to accuracy and quality<BR>* Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional team activities and provide project management support<BR>* Excellent time management and organizational skills<BR>* Outstanding attitude, including initiative, judgment, and sense of humor<BR>EDUCATION: <BR>* A Bachelor's degree is required; preferably in Business, Finance or Economics<BR>EXCELLENT BENEFIT PACKAGE:<BR>* Excellent 401(k) plan with company match<BR>* Medical, dental and life insurance<BR>* Paid vacation and holidays<BR>* Educational Aid reimbursement program<BR>* Opportunities for career advancement and personal growth<BR>* On-site Fi </font></td>
