               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Associate Professor/Director for the Center of Hematology Malignancies<BR> <BR>Department Knight Cancer Institute<BR> <BR>Location MNP 3223<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary: Commensurate with education and experience; Location: Marquam Hill<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology within the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking a board certified hematologist to lead our Center for Hematologic Malignancies, the largest section in the Division. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong desire to provide excellent clinical care to patients with hematologic malignancies and will have experience in hematologic malignancies and stem cell transplantation. This position will be responsible for faculty development, program development, faculty service organization, quality initiatives, oversight of teaching and research activities, clinical care and involvement in outreach activities. As part of a university practice and as a member of the Knight Cancer Institute, the only NCI designated cancer center in the state, there is opportunity to participate in clinical, translational and robust bench research activities all of which are well-supported by the Cancer Institute infrastructure and a new Phase 1 Clinical Trials Program.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Oregon; Board certified in Hematology and or Medical Oncology: Bone Marrow transplant experience in clinical management of allogeneic and autologus transplant patients.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> More information on the Knight Cancer Institute can be found at www.ohsu.edu/cancer.<BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
