               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Associate Professor of Biostatistics<BR> <BR>Department Public Health and Preventive Medicine<BR> <BR>Location CSB 669<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary commensurate with experience, Location: OHSU's main campus on Marquam Hill<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> <BR>OHSU invites applications for a faculty-level biostatistician who will direct the Biostatistics and Design Program (BDP) at OHSU. This faculty member will have administrative responsibilities of the BDP, which includes managing budget, supervising junior biostatistics faculty and other staff. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR><BR>This faculty member will alsoprovide essential expertise to univeristy investigators through biostatistics research collaboration and consulting, including proposal/grant development activities, as well as data analysis interpretation and manuscript preparation after projects are funded. S/he will may elect to provide expertise for higher profile strategic projects through the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute . The faculty member will have opportunities for statistical methodology development, especially in clinical and translational research.<BR><BR>This position will have an academic home in the Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Public Health & Preventive Medicine. In this capacity, the faculty member will have teaching and curriculum development opportunities in graduate education programs in Biostatistics, as well as the Oregon MPH program (Epidemiology and Biostatistics track.) He/she will also refine curricula andteachintroductory to intermediate level core courses and workshops in the Oregon Clinical & Translational Research Institute?s Human Investigations and Masters in Clinical Research programs.<BR><BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>Job Requirements:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>PhD degree in biostatistics, statistics or equivalent field<BR>Experience consulting or collaborating with biomedical investigators on study design and analysis<BR>Experience teaching biostatistics in a health sciences environment<BR>Excellent oral and written communication skills<BR><BR>Preferred:<BR>Experience with NIH or equivalent grant development and application process<BR>Management of a biostatistics core, consulting unit or similar resource<BR><BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
