The program has 6 clinician scientist, an active clinical research program and a robust fellowship program. Resources include the Parkinsons Center of Oregon, a Department of Veterans Affairs Parkinsons Disease Research, Education and Clinical Center (PADRECC), and National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence, Udall Center in collaboration with the University of Washington, a large referral base with busy clinic, vigorous deep brain stimulation and botulinum toxin programs, an internationally recognized gait and balance program.The director will supervise the neurochemistry laboratory and personnel; teach medical students, house staff, fellows, and the regional medical community; establish and maintain a program of scholarly research activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes, detection and treatment of neurological disorders; provide clinical care to patients of University Hospital and Clinics and affiliated hospitals and clinics, including attending and consultation; engage in public service through consultative activities with non-University groups and participate in the administration of the department and School of Medicine.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> MD ?
