The division is responsible for the majority of the clinical teaching in the department for students and residents. The division includes particular areas of expertise in family planning and vulvar health. A fellowship in family planning was started in 2001, and a dedicated family planning clinic in 2005. The family planning faculty within the division have had a substantial record of clinical, teaching and research productivity. Our program in vulvar health is nationally recognized and has a growing research effort.<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Salary: Commensurate with education and experience; Location: Marquam Hill<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> <BR>The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and the OHSU Center for Women?s Health are seeking a head for the division of General Gynecology & Obstetrics at the Associate Professor or Professor level.<BR>The Division Head will be responsible for overseeing the clinical, research, teaching and advocacy missions within the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology in furtherance of the university?s missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.<BR>As a member of the faculty, the division head will provide clinical care to patients of the University Hospital and Clinics, and affiliated hospitals and clinics; establish and maintain a program of scholarly research activity directed toward improved understanding of the causes, detection, and treatment of gynecologic and obstetric conditions; teach medical students, house staff and the regional medical community; engage in public service through consultative activities with non-university groups as approved by the Department Chair; and participate in the administration of the School of Medicine as appointed by the Committee on Committees and approved by the Dean.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Requirements include a MD degree; Oregon licensure; a potential for academic accomplishment; board certification or eligibility for board certification.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>How To Apply <BR> <BR> Apply here online.
