Solid compensation and benefits with an exceptional opportunity to grow.<BR>Position Summary:<BR>The Billing Software Engineer is responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, and sustaining our billing and transaction processing platform. Our current billing platform is being replaced by a new platform. You will be joining our Billing Project Team to implement this new platform. After initial deployment, you will become the in-house engineer responsible for the future growth and sustaining engineering of this platform. You will work daily with your finance department customer. At first, you will gather functional requirements to guide the design of the initial platform. After build and deployment, you will add features, new capabilities, and be responsible for sustaining engineering of the platform.<BR>Our billing system is mission critical to our business and as such this is a highly visible and absolutely critical position in our company. We are looking for a special breed of engineer capable of embracing the importance of his or her responsibility. In addition, you must have excellent people skills and patience for non-technical people. You will be working in a highly interactive environment where your customer is your colleague.<BR>As a member of our Product Development Team, you will participate in daily project and department stand-ups. You will learn our Test-driven Development Methodology. You also will act as backup to your colleagues in the department.
