<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Business Data Analyst 2<BR> <BR>Department Inpatient Pharmacy<BR> <BR>Location HRC 9D40<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 1.0 FTE; Schedule: Mon - Sun, variable shifts; Salary range: $21.65 - $29.37/hour; Location: Marquam Hill campus.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> To address non-labor cost reduction challenges, this position improve the operational effectiveness of our medication procurement, inventory management, medication logistics, and medication access systems. This position will be responsible for: Enhanced inventory control, product selection and waste management. Improved ability to verify invoice pricing and rebates. Optimized existing automation investments to enhance medication distribution safety and improve workflow practices efficiencies. The Incumbent will observe due care, objectivity and respect for confidentiality. All employees must keep confidential what they hear and what they see when handling, reviewing or observing: communications and records thereof (calls, email, pages, fax, etc.), data transmission, databases, or other forms of information. Confidentiality extends to the identities of the parties of the communications, and even to the fact that the communication took place.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: A Bachelors degree in a business field and one (1) year of experience that included analytical, database, spreadsheet and/or financial experience, technical writing, quantitative analysis or use of statistical principles; OR an Associates degree in a business field plus three (3) years of experience that included analytical, database, spreadsheet and/or financial experience, technical writing, quantitative analysis or use of statistical principles; OR Five (5) years of experience that included analytical, database, spreadsheet and/or financial experience, technical writing, quantitative analysis or use of statistical principles; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Job related skills include: Proven ability to complete projects on time, on budget, and on scope; Proven ability to work with multiple information systems; Ability to collaboratively work with multiple business units and teams within Pharmacy and external stake holders; Ability to evaluate large amounts of data and translate to workable opportunities.
