Location: Marquam Hill Campus.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> Design and Construction's Business Manager manages the administrative functions supporting the operational and project delivery needs of Design and Construction (DesCon). This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring and reporting on DesCon?s operating budget and service center, eBuilder administration, eBuilder-Oracle data reconciliation, and primary contact with Central Financial Services and ITG for all DesCon department needs.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering or related. At least 3 years of design and construction, architect or contractor office administrative and/or financial management. Demonstrable construction accounting experience, including understanding of work breakdown structure (cost codes), time entry (billing) and general conditions. Development, monitoring and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Operating budget development, monitoring and reporting. Staff supervision, development, and mentorship in a construction office environment. Proper structure and content of the English language, rules of composition, report writing and grammar. Personal communication techniques used to resolve disputes. Team management techniques, principles and practices. Communication techniques to bring about agreement between divergent points of view. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Working knowledge of Oracle, SAP or other enterprise financial system.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Working conditions may include walking, standing, bending, stooping, typing, lifting objects up to 40 lbs, sitting for extended periods of time, etc. in an office setting.
