This group provides Planning, Analysis, Engineering, Design, Project Management and Maintenance support for Information Technology systems used within the Control Center environment required to support the operation of an interconnected utility. This includes:<BR>* Performing Systems Analysis.<BR>* Interfacing with users to support Functional Requirements Development.<BR>* Analyzing tools and techniques to support the development of systems.<BR>* Troubleshooting, analysis, Performance Monitoring and improvement of systems used by the Operations functions.<BR>Duties and Responsibilities:<BR>Work associated with this position will be directly related to Business Process support for Systems Change Management, as well as Process and Compliance requirements for the organization.<BR>* Support organization change and Configuration Management efforts.<BR>* Serve as a Process Point of Contact for the organization.<BR>* Provide support for System Modeling.<BR>* Define, develop and document new Processes and Procedures as required.<BR>* Support Process and Procedure roll-out.<BR>* Develop and provide training, as required.<BR>* Support organizational requirements to meet compliance.<BR>* Develop and document Processes and Procedures to support NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) Mandatory Reliability standards CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection), as well as Department of Energy NIST/FISMA (National Institute of Standards and Technology/Federal Information Security Management Act) Security requirements.<BR>* Develop training materials and job aids to support the above.<BR>* Assist in the development of necessary documentation to support Reporting and Audit requirements.<BR>* Provide Quality Assurance and oversight for organization to ensure compliance with the above standards and guidelines.<BR>* Provide support to NERC Annual Certification process and any other spot audit or compliance request.<BR>* Be expected to complete and maintain North American Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) certifications for secure locations, as well as possibly act as an escort, if required.<BR>* Perform other duties, as may be assigned.<BR>This is an estimated one-year contingent / temporary position throughVolt Technical Resources, located in Portland, Oregon.
