               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Certified Nursing Assistant<BR> <BR>Department NRM Ancillary Float Pool<BR> <BR>Location OHS 14C90<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> This is a flex position; variable hours; Salary: $12.53-$16.63/hourly; Location: Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The C.N.A.2 is part of the health care team in locations throughout OHSU. The C.N.A.2 provides direct or general nursing care to patients from admission through discharge under the direction of a licensed nurse and within the parameters of the state licensing board. The C.N.A.2 assists the patient, patient families, nursing staff, and other support staff to assure the delivery of quality care in a safe and comfortable environment. The Specialty Float Pool C.N.A.2 will work with patients of all ages throughout University Hospital and Doernbecher Childrens Hospital, with specific assignments being made on a daily basis and based on current needs.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Completion of a vocational training program in a health care support area (e.g., Certified Nursing Assistant). Current unencumbered OSBN C.N.A. 2 certification. Requires BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross, One year in acute or long term care OR two years in a patient contact position at OHSU. Basic math skills. Basic medical terminology. Ability to read, write and communicate appropriately and effectively. Intermediate computer skills. Preferred: Previous OHSU experience.
