               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Certified Nursing Assistant 2<BR> <BR>Department Interventional Recovery Unit (IRU)<BR> <BR>Location OHS 11C70<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> Full-time 1.0 FTE; Schedule: Mon-Fri night shift, 11:00pm-7:00am; Salary range: $12.53-$16.63/hour; Location: Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Certified Nursing Assistant working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, provides direct or general nursing care to patients from admission through discharge undergoing procedures in the Catheterization Lab (CCL) and Angio Lab, under the direction of a licensed nurse and within the parameters of the state licensing board. The CAN assists the patient, patient?s families, nursing staff, and other support staff to assure the delivery of quality care in a safe and comfortable environment. The IRU CAN works with patients of all ages throughout University Hospital North and South, and Doernbecher Children?s Hospital.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Current Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant 2 Certificate. Current BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association. Basic Math skills; Basic Medical Terminology Skills; Able to read, write and communicate appropriately and effectively. Ability to repetitively lift, bend, stoop, stand and walk throughout the shift. Previous hospital experience preferred.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Constant exposure to usual hospital environmental conditions. Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
