               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Certified Nursing Assistant II<BR> <BR>Department Abdominal Transplant/Surgical Specialties<BR> <BR>Location OHS 10A04<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> Abdominal Transplant / Surgical Specialties<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> 0.9 FTE; 12-hour nights, 1900-0730, including every other weekend; Location: Marquam Hill.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> The Certified Nursing Assistant II is part of the multi-disciplinary team providing care to OHSU patients. The CNA II provides direct or general nursing care to patients from admission through discharge under the direction of a licensed RN and within the scope of practice defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. The CNA II assists the patients, patients' families and friends, nursing staff, and other OHSU personnel, to assure the delivery of comprehensive quality care in a safe, confidential and comfortable environment.<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> Required: Current Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant II license and current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Verifiable by reference: Dependable work history and ability to work as part of a diverse healthcare team. Must possess basic math skills and medical terminology. Able to read, write, and communicate appropriately and effectively. Able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, stand, and walk throughout the shift. Preferred: Previous hospital CNA experience.<BR> <BR>Additional Details <BR> <BR> Orientation: 2 weeks. Ability to assist patients and staff in transferring and lifting patients.
