This will require off shift hours as part of normal hours for candidate.<BR><BR>Support internal & external customers and generally have to do with migrating traffic. Typically these will be off shift (night) positions and will entail these scenarios:<BR><BR>Moving traffic from one circuit to a nearby circuit<BR>Loop changes<BR>Terminating, modifying, reactivating DS3<BR><BR>Will assist in the daily direction of the Activations Team<BR><BR>Support existing and new network circuitry by serving as primary technical support for all Engineering orders. The Technician provides qualitative technical service assurance support to:<BR><BR>internal and external customers along with external LEC(s).<BR>This is including but not limited to electronic trouble ticket initiation and escalations.<BR>Additionally this person performs new service provisioning of transport services, data, and trunking services.<BR>Responsible for circuit activation of network orders via first and some second level network troubleshooting, mapping, provisioning and testing various network elements.<BR>Performs all installation functions as the Service Assurance Representative as well as provision all complex services into the network to include all T1 and above products and services.<BR>Provisioning and troubleshooting technical problems requires the use of advanced technical knowledge and complex testing equipment.<BR><BR>Eligibility Requirements<BR><BR>This is a contract with one of our premier client?s located in the Portland, Oregon region<BR>Adecco Engineering and/or our clients are not responsible for training.<BR>Candidates are responsible for delivering the ?know-how? within the workplace per the job requirements, policies, rules, regulations, federal law and the timeline requested.<BR>Local / Regional Portland, Oregon Candidates preferred<BR>Adecco provides access to an affordable and comprehensive group medical coverage plan.
