               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Clinical Nutrition Education Coordinator<BR> <BR>Department Dietetics & Nutrition<BR> <BR>Location GH 207<BR> <BR>Work Unit Description <BR> <BR> The Clinical Nutrition Education Coordinator of the Dietetic Internship of the Graduate Programs in Human Nutrition in the School of Medicine at OHSU will coordinate all clinical nutrition teaching activities and will serve as a faculty liaison for instructors teaching the Food Service/Management course (Fall term) and the Clinical Case Studies course (Spring term); will teach, advise, and mentor students; support clinical preceptors; and work alongside other program faculty.<BR> <BR>Work Schedule, Hours, FTE, Salary Range <BR> <BR> .6 FTE; Salary range $48,00 - $65,000 (1.0 FTE); Mondays, typically 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Tuesdays-Fridays, flexible.<BR> <BR>Functions/Duties of Position <BR> <BR> <BR>Key Responsibilities:<BR>Instructor of Clinical Dietetics I and II (NUTN 511 and 512):<BR>* Curriculum development, evaluation, and modification using problem-based learning model<BR>* Present lectures in areas of content expertise<BR>* Schedule and host guest lecturers in areas outside of content expertise<BR>* Coordinate revision of clinical study guides and answer keys as needed using team of preceptors as reviewers; develop new study guides and answer keys as needed or requested<BR>* Hold weekly office hours<BR>Faculty Liaison for Nutrition Management and Clinical Case Studies (NUTN 513 and 515):<BR>* 1. Participate in curriculum development, evaluation, and modification<BR>* 2. Support program instructors as needed during course delivery<BR>* 3. Coordinate revision of study guides and answer keys using team of preceptors as reviewers; develop new study guides and answer keys as needed or requested<BR>Student Mentoring:<BR>* Master?s thesis committee member (1-2 students per year)<BR>* Research mentor for Nutrition Research (NUTN 514)<BR>* Other projects as assigned<BR>Administrative Responsibilities:<BR>* Coordinate MNT Week (Last instructional week in December)<BR>* Coordinate Alumni Advance conference planning committee and organization (Conference held in November of each year)<BR>* Coordinate extra-curricular service learning opportunities for students<BR>Participate actively in the following program activities:<BR>* GPHN Faculty Meetings<BR>* Dietetic Internship Advisory Council<BR>* Dietetic Intern- and Masters Student-Selection Committees<BR>* Seminars and Readings and Conferences Discussions<BR>* GPHN Website updates<BR>* Graduation planning<BR> <BR>Job Requirements <BR> <BR> <BR>* Master?s Degree in a nutrition-related field<BR>* Three years of clinical dietetics experience<BR>* Two years of teaching experience with an emphasis in nutrition-related courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate level; experience teaching medical nutrition therapy preferred<BR>* Recent and significant experience with the OHSU Dietetic Internship or similar internship program (e.g., preceptor, instructor, guest lecturer)<BR>* Research experience at the master?s level<BR>* Registered Dietitian<BR>* Licensed Dietitian in the state of Oregon or become licensed within three mont                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   </font></td>
