<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Clinical Research Specialist III - Nurse<BR>Location: Portland, OR<BR>Collaborate to coordinate & implement clinical trials & collect quality research data involving human subjects. Maintain a thorough knowledge of study protocols & health assessment skills. Apply knowledge specific to professional discipline w/in scope of practice to research process. Consult w/ & provide leadership to the interdisciplinary project team to ensure quality control & participant satisfaction.<BR>Essential Functions:<BR>- Coordinate specific assignments that support achievement of the clinic & project goals<BR>- Participate in the development, implementation, & evaluation of study protocols, in cooperation w/ the clinic coordinator & other study team members<BR>- Assume responsibility for aspects of daily operations for assigned studies as delegated by the clinic coordinator<BR>- Communicate study related issues, such as protocol violations & participant safety, to the approp persons<BR>- Anticipate fluctuations in work flow & make approp adjustments to meet clinic objectives/standards<BR>- Provide counseling & education based on assessment of participant needs w/in protocol requirements & area of expertise<BR>- Participate in developing & implementing training plans<BR>- Train & evaluate staff adherence to study protocol<BR>- Act as a resource to project staff for managing adverse events<BR>- Apply thorough knowledge of GCP, Human Subject Committee & FDA rules & regulations that apply to human subjects'' research<BR>- Assess, evaluate & plan the follow-up for participant test results<BR>- Responsible for accurate, quality data collection; protocol interpretation; carry out complex procedures, medication administration, & compliance in specialized areas of clinical research<BR>- Perform all duties & responsibilities of the Clinic Specialist II<BR>- Practice according to professional, legal, & ethical standards<BR>- Develop & implement systems & reports to support the data collection process to ensure quality & accuracy of work<BR>- Assist w/ developing & evaluating plans & strategies for implementing study protocols<BR>- Perform skills that require thorough knowledge & interpretive abilities w/in<BR>- scope of practice<BR>- Develop & model strategies to promote staff adherence to study protocols<BR>- Assist the coordinator in evaluating systems & processes to promote effective resource utilization<BR>- Use approp computer programs to assist in data collection, tracking, ordering laboratory tests or procedures, or communication, such as RRS, Health Connect, study specific programs, PAS, & other computer software as needed<BR>- Demonstrate commitment to communicate & solve problems effectively<BR>- Establish positive working relationships w/ individuals, families, & groups through effective oral & written communication skills<BR>- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of communication skills by contributing<BR>- productively to problem solving & conflict resolution<BR>- Demonstrate commitment to customer-focused service<BR>- Develop & apply principles & </font></td>
