<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Clinical Supervision Consultant - Mental Health (East Interstate Medical Office)<BR>Location: Portland, OR<BR>Ensures quality behavioral therapy by the affiliated clinician staff through individual and group clinical supervision and consultation.<BR><BR>Essential Functions:<BR>- Creates a culture of consistent ongoing professional development, appropriate scope of practice, & criteria-based treatment in mental health dept.<BR>- Assists in developing & monitoring peer supervision/consultation strategies & processes.<BR>- Assists in authoring coordinated clinical protocols & region-wide procedures in collaboration w/ Clinical Manager, Medical Director, Dept Administrators & Dept Managers.<BR>- Maintains & utilizes current knowledge of federal/state/licensing board behavioral health best supervisory, clinical practices, & ethical standards.<BR>- Identifies systemic barriers to providing clinical best-practice methodologies & utilizes internal & external resources to support improvement.<BR>- Assists in development of programs to address needs of specialty populations.<BR>- Assists in development of clinical strategies to better utilize resources & provide care for complex patients.<BR>- Assist sin development of face-to-face & distance methods to order to provide effective clinical supervisory support for affiliated clinical staff.<BR>- Assists in development of protocol to support effective clinical practice via case conceptualization, case mgmt strategies & coordination of care efforts for patients in the ambulatory & inpatient settings.<BR>- Provides of case conferences & clinical team meetings.<BR>- Provides direct, ongoing clinical supervision & consultation w/ affiliated clinical staff, qualified mental health professionals, & other behavioral health staff as required by licensure/accreditation.<BR>- Provides liaison support for member referrals, external referents & supports, internal depts & medical staff.<BR>- Ensures appropriate use of Health Connect (medical record), reviews clinical charts for quality & appropriateness.<BR>- Develops & maintains an effective network & relationships w/ regional Health Plan operations & NW Permanente clinical leadership to support clinical needs of the Mental Health dept.<BR>- Supports the Mental Health dept on national/regional committees & workgroups.<BR>- Supports involvement in community.<BR>- Maintains supervisory/consultation/training records, schedules, & documentation as required.<BR>- Understands, adheres to, & integrates behavioral health practice standards from federal, state, licensure regulations board(s), & accreditation bodies for KP''s delivery of member services.<BR>- Evaluates affiliated clinician''s clinical competence & adherence to clinical guidelines.<BR>- Makes recommendations regarding individual training needs.<BR>- Exercises appropriate discretion in escalation of clinical performance issues & concerns.<BR>- Monitors clinical outcomes measures.<BR>- Oversees affiliated clinician''s caseload mgmt.<BR>- Develops & maintains a clinical competency exam to be u </font></td>
